I just got back from Emily's sleepover thing. We ended up going to Yorkdale and the Bramalea City Center, but more on that later.

In the Indigo at Yorkdale, they had Higurashi manga.

Buuuut they only had the second volume of the second and fourth arcs.

I bought an anime magazine from Coles. I think it's called something with otaku and "USA" in it. I've never heard of it, but it had Horo on it and it was only like five dollars. I intend to read it once, then dissect it and cover my room with pictures. I should cut out the page on Strike Witches and stick it right at eye level somewhere. BEATO STOP IT THIS IS CONFUSING

I accidentally gave myself a hime cut today.

I noticed my bangs (or fringe or whatever it's called) were getting kind of long. However, I'm a) lazy, and b) trying to make sure my hair is at a passable length for a Mammon cosplay in six months, so I'm not going to be getting a haircut any time soon.

However...bangs. I figured I could just follow the shape that they were in, and trim them a little bit.

When I did that, I realized that the sides were kind of long, too. So, naturally, I also cut those a little bit.

But that made the longer side of my bangs look weird. So I trimmed that. Then the shorter part looked weird. Damn side bangs.

It looked the same as it did before. For a while.

Then my hair dried and I straightened it.

Oars.

Our midterm report things were handed back today. I'm not failing any of my classes yet.

I wish I could be like FUCK YEAH 90% AVERAGE BITCHES, but I can't.

Immediately afterwards, I remembered that I dislike Facebook and that I really should just have opened up LJ or, even better - not bitched about it at all. But whatever, I forgot about it and went to play Umineko for the 28408th time.

Until I got a notification an hour later.

She started off by telling me that Holly had made her wear a red wig, and she was jealous because Holly got to wear a pink one.

She had to carry around a big thing on her back, while Holly got to wear some pretty dress thing.

Holly wrote something on Emily's forehead, and made her say that she was the best at DDR and she was "of the funk or something."

FAN CREATIONS THREEEEEEAD

I opened one today, after making a shitload of signatures last night. If you actually go to that link, there are like ten signatures there, all of which were created between midnight and two AM. That's seriously the only time I'm ever productive.

Also, I'm seven rep points away from having two little green box things on Animesuki. This has made me kind of happy, but more confused than anything. I haven't done anything useful since I joined in March. I've burned a stolen sign and drawn some half-assed graffiti on my school's black top, but that's about it.

Also also: I would have worked on Hitobashira Kyonko this weekend, if not for two things.

One, I'm stuck at a certain part. In one frame thing, Miku has her hands out and her hair's kind of piled up on the floor, and it gradually gets bloodstains on it. Itsuko's hair isn't nearly long enough to do that. What should that scene look like? Should blood just show up on the background? It doesn't really have the same effect, and I have no idea what to do.

Two, I found some fabric lying around, and I decided to try to make a sea cat.

The fabric I found was actually just an old pillowcase that wasn't giant enough to use for Halloween, though, so I spent four billion years ripping out the seams.

And yes, I'm going out for Halloween again this year. SHUT UP. There are approximately six nine hundred people sleeping over at my house and watching such classic movies as I Know Who Killed Me, and after renting movies I won't have enough money to buy food. Candy is free, and if I have a costume ready, then if more food is required I can run across the street and just get some.

Ugh, I need to go watch something that doesn't suck. My neighbour dragged me out to see Couple's Retreat. It deserves the 11% it has on Rotten Tomatoes. I think Zombieland deserves more than 88%. Saying that Zombieland has eight times the score of Couple's Retreat doesn't sound like it's that big of a difference. Eighty times, yes, but eight? No.
